You might know exactly what support you want, or have a few questions to work through first. You can begin with a conversation, browse our services or make a referral.
We contact every new referral within three business days. Referring yourself, or asking someone you trust to help, starts a discussion about your needs and whether we can provide the support you are looking for.
Our lived experience model shapes the first steps: room for your questions, a say in who supports you and information you can consider before deciding. Tell us what you want from support and what you want to keep doing for yourself.
Tell us what you need
It helps to know where you live, the type of support you are considering, the days or times that matter and how you prefer to be contacted. You can also tell us about your goals, routines and the people you want involved.
If another person is making the referral, they should have your agreement or the agreement of the appropriate guardian or nominee. Let us know if you need information in Easy Read, an interpreter or another way to take part.
Keep useful information nearby
Relevant parts of your NDIS plan, existing support plans and details of any formal decision-maker can help the intake conversation. Health, communication and safety information helps us assess what arrangements are needed.
You do not have to share sensitive details through a website form if you would prefer another way. Tell us that you would like to discuss them directly. Our Website Privacy Policy explains the information the website collects and how it is handled.
Meet, consider and agree
We arrange a meet and greet, explain the supports and costs, and assess whether we can safely meet your needs. You can bring a supporter and ask questions. We explain the decision; you decide whether you want to proceed.
Before supports begin, there is a written service agreement, a support planning conversation and an introduction to your workers. You can take time to read the agreement or seek independent advice. A referral does not require you to accept a service.
