You should know what a support costs before it begins. Makodah Care sets out the agreed supports, times and prices in your service agreement and Schedule of Supports, and explains them in a way you can use.
This page does not quote rates. The current NDIS pricing information and your individual agreement are the places to check the rules and amounts that apply to a proposed support.
What the NDIS pricing information tells you
The NDIS publishes pricing schedules that set maximum prices for relevant supports. Its current participant guidance explains that these limits apply to NDIA-managed and plan-managed participants, and that participants and providers can negotiate an appropriate price up to the applicable maximum.
Check the official information when considering a service or a change. A maximum price does not, on its own, describe the service you have agreed to receive.

Your Schedule of Supports records the supports, days, times and prices. The service agreement also explains invoicing, responsibilities, changes, cancellations and how to end the agreement. Take time to check these parts together.
Ask which costs are included in the proposed arrangement and whether any other charges could apply. For transport or an activity, ask what is covered by support funding and what you would pay separately. Cancellation questions should be checked against your agreement and the current applicable NDIS rules.
Questions worth asking before you sign
You can have a family member, advocate, support coordinator or another trusted person help you review the agreement. If a term is unclear, ask for an explanation before agreeing.
- What supports, days and times does this agreement cover?
- What will each support cost, and when will I receive an invoice?
- What happens if a support is cancelled or needs to change?
- How will you tell me about a proposed price change?
After supports begin
Makodah Care’s Participant Handbook explains weekly invoicing and written notice before a price change applies. If an invoice looks wrong or differs from what you expected, raise it with us so it can be checked.
Your circumstances can change. A review is an opportunity to revisit the arrangement, discuss your priorities and agree any changes in writing.
