You can read our information before making an enquiry, bring it to a meeting or share it with someone helping you consider support. Choose the guide that fits the question you have now.
The document library brings together the supplied participant documents, forms and website policies. Each entry shows its version so you can identify what you are reading.
Clear information is a practical part of our lived experience model. You need room to ask questions, involve someone you trust and consider what an agreement means for your daily life. These guides help you prepare for that conversation.
If you are thinking about starting
The Easy Read Starting with Makodah Care guide explains the first conversation, meeting the team and deciding whether to proceed. It is a useful place to begin if you want a short introduction.
The Participant Handbook covers the full process in more detail, including agreements, support planning, workers, privacy and feedback. It also contains an Easy Read section at the back. You can ask someone you trust to read it with you.

Keep questions that matter to you nearby when reviewing an agreement. You can ask for more explanation, time to think or independent advice before deciding.

The Easy Read feedback guide explains ways to give a compliment, make a suggestion or raise a complaint. You can complete the form on our website and ask someone you trust to help.
You can also find independent advocacy and tenancy contacts in the resource library. Those options are available whether you have already spoken with Makodah Care or would prefer to seek advice first.
